In this retreat we practice yoga daily in combination with walking, where we embrace the beauty and silence of the desert. Our yoga sessions help you connect with yourself and the environment, creating inner peace and reflection. In the desert, adventure and simplicity come together with the most beautiful sunsets. The yoga sessions will be guided by Sara Curadeau.
The trip starts from Marrakesh to the Sahara Desert and back.
Meet Sara
Hi! I am Sara, an enthusiastic yoga teacher from Canada with a deep passion for movement, well-being and travel. As a kinesiologist, I have deep knowledge about the human body and the positive effects of physical activity on the body and the mind. In addition, I am trained in India as a yoga teacher and a Reiki master, embracing a holistic approach for health and balance.
I look forward to meet you in the peaceful environment of the desert and create a moment of peace and connection together!
Hatha Yoga
In my classes, I combine flowing movements with conscious breathing in a Hatha Yoga Flow. This not only helps to build strength and flexibility, but also to find inner peace and balance. My love for adventure and personal growth inspires me to guide others on their own path to well-being. Whether you are an experienced yogi or just starting out, I invite you to go on a journey of discovery together – both on and off the yoga mat.

Your choice: Basic Bivouac or Comfort Bivouac?
During our treks, you have the choice between two camping options: the Basic Bivouac and the Comfort Bivouac. Which one best suits your idea of adventure?
Our Basic Bivouac
Here everything revolves around the simplicity and purity of nomadic life. Depending on the size of the group, we set up one or more large communal tents, where you can sleep or take shelter in case of a sandstorm. For groups larger than four, we bring an extra tent that serves as a kitchen, where our team prepares fresh meals. We cook with as many local, fresh ingredients as possible, which we supplement during longer trips.
What can you expect?
- Water: Bottled mineral water for drinking and tap water from jerry cans for all other water use.
- Sleeping comfort: We provide you with a mattress and a blanket. Bring your own sheet bag or sleeping bag and sleep well under the stars, or if you prefer in a communal tent. 2 (3) person tents are also possible at an additional cost, see Comfort Bivouac.
- Sanitary facilities: Like true nomads, we use what nature offers us. There are no toilets or showers – that is part of the charm of the Sahara.
- Trekking: You can choose to walk yourself, or partly ride on one of the camels.
Our Comfort Bivouac
Would you like a little more luxury during your trip? Then the Comfort Bivouac might be something for you. You can choose from these extra options:
- Two-person tent: For more privacy, you can rent your own tent in our base camp. Sun-resistant, so cool and nice and dark.
- Fixed base camp: Spend the night in one of the fixed camps in the Sahara, where you have lockable houses or tents (for 2 to 4 people) with fixed beds, sheets, and blankets. Often there is even lighting! A large communal tent for eating and socializing. There are toilets, showers, and in the evening we make music by the campfire.
- Private camel: Then you can join your trip on ’the ship of the desert’, as camels are also called.
- Extra support: Do you want to outsource more? Then our team can be expanded with extra cooks, guides and camels. This way you can fully enjoy yourself while they do the work.
- By 4×4: You can choose to make the trip (partly) with a 4×4.
